We are sad to announce that on March 3, 2024, at the age of 103, Gladys Mingus Amos of Centre, Alabama, born in Cherokee, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Sanford Mingus and Paralee Coleman Mingus; her spouse Lee Amos; her son Richard Amos; and her siblings, Sally, Mamie, Fannie, Celia and John.

She is survived by : her daughter Glenda Massey of Snellville, Georgia; and her grandchildren, Shane Massey (Brandy) of Loganville, Ben Massey of Snellville, Georgia and Angie Hawkins of Leicester. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
