He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruthnell Fowler Bailey and Bethel (Bailey); and his siblings, Marshall Bailey, Sr., Audrey Reynolds and Marcell Greeson.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Johnson Bailey; his children, Harry A. Bailey, Jr. (Christi), Daniel Johnson, Beth Bailey and Deanna Johnson Reed; his siblings, Milton Bailey and Vel Hardgrove; his sister-in-law Mary Nel Bailey; and his caregiver Sandy Watson. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 13th 2026 at 5:00 PM at the Perry Funeral Home Chapel (1611 Clarence E Chesnut Jr Bypass, Centre, AL 35960). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 13th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, May 14th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Friendship Cemetery (50 County Rd 93, Centre, AL 35960).
