She is survived by: her son Thomas Whorton; her sisters, Nora Ruth Dempsey Rickard, Melanie Delaine Dempsey Adams (Scott), Rebecca Dempsey Wallace, Donna Laverne Dempsey Howard (John) and Angela Gail Dempsey Weimer; her granddaughters, Chasity Hope Highfield, Christina Anne Whorton Bailey, Samantha Louise Whorton Johnson and Savannah Rose Whorton; and her great grandchildren, Gracie, Asher, Abigail, Destiny, Bryson and Kaclynn. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
