Lonnie leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Lonnie’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Lonnie will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He is survived by: his daughters, Lisa Soltis (Peter), Laura Yoder (Gary), LeAnn Stern (Rob), Amy Corley (Chris), Sherri Dunn (Kevin) and Melissa Garrison (Shayne); and his brother George Sallee. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home (927 E Main St, Centre, AL 35960). A memorial service was held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home Chapel (927 E Main St, Centre, AL 35960).
