We are sad to announce that on November 22, 2023, at the age of 85, Maxine Armstrong of Centre, Alabama, born in Cherokee, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Armstrong; her daughter Diane Hendon; her siblings, Jack Walker, Allen Walker, Harold Walker, Sybil Stinson, Jeanette Aderholt and Patricia Smith; and her parents, Roy Walker and Maggie Walker.

She is survived by: her children, Dennis Armstrong and Linda Nabors (Tom); her brothers, Bill Walker, Jerry Walker and Donnie Walker (Becky); her grandchildren, Nevin Nabors, Dalton Nabors, Maggie Rock, DJ Armstrong, Justin Armstrong, Holley Armstrong, Courtney Davis, Kelli Smith and Ericka Robertson; and her caregivers, Sue Hawkins and Helen Wynn. She is also survived by 16 great grandchildren; special friends.
