With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rayburn Stone of Centre, Alabama, born in Dawson, Alabama, who passed away on April 18, 2024 at the age of 91. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Rayburn Stone to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his wife Hazel Davis Stone; his parents, Clarence Stone and Ola May Stone; his children, Karen Stone and Steven Ray Stone; his sisters, Ollie Mae Bradberry and Kathy Price; and his nephew Gary Price.

He is survived by : his daughter Deborah Morrow (Bob); his nieces, Connie Witt and Karin Williamson; his nephew Jim Price; his great-niece Julie Gregory (Jason); his grandchildren, Nicole Ashworth, Sonia Chism (Wesley), Tonia Norton (Chris), Jennifer Kingry Christa Davis (Kelly) and Al R; and also, Olivia, Madelyn and Emily Gregory.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 21st 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Perry Funeral Home (1611 Clarence E Chesnut Jr Bypass, Centre, AL 35960). A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 21st 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to First Baptist Church Centre, Building Fund.
