He is survived by: his siblings, Reuben Vaughn (Judy) of Piedmont, AL, Gerald Vaughn of Scottsboro, AL, Marie Carroll, Syble Jones of Douglas, AL and Leisa Sparkman (David) of Centre, AL; and his close friend Kathy Hallmark. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
