He was predeceased by: his wife Nancy Colbert Alexander; his parents, Clarence Alexander and Iretta Alexander; and his sister Margarette Farmer. He is survived by: his children, Josh Alexander (Chelsi) and Paige Malone (Jason); his grandchildren, Jansen Alexander (Madeline), Banks Alexander, Mason Agan, Dalton Agan, Addison Malone and Jack Malone; and his sisters, Kay Burns (David), Reatta Christopher (Wade) and Linda Moses. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, friends.
