He was predeceased by : his father John Pina. He is survived by : his wife Donna Leigh Young; his mother Debbie Pina; his children, Shane Christopher Young, Jr. (Haleigh), Nicole Leigh Young (Mason), Jocelyn Pina and Destiny Pina; his siblings, John Pina, Jr., Nicole Pina, Diane Pina, Candice Pina, India Waldron, Tina Pina and Tonya Pina; and his grandson Theodore Honeycutt.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 14th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Perry Funeral Home Chapel (1611 Clarence E Chesnut Jr Bypass, Centre, AL 35960). A memorial service was held on Sunday, April 14th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
