Sara Stripling Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sara Stripling (Centreville, Alabama), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 21, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilton Johnson and Sally Johnson; her husband Thad Stripling Jr.; her daughter-in-law Brenda Suggs Stripling; and her siblings, Hayward Johnson, Veda Vining, Wilton Johnson Jr. and Betty Stone.

She is survived by: her children, Larry Stripling, Dennis Stripling (Lori) and Kathy Holifield (Robert); her siblings, Ruth Kornegay and Robert Johnson (Cathy); her grandchildren, Brandon Holifield (Val), Cameron Holifield (Jamie), Christian Holifield and Savannah McGee (Kade); and her great grandchildren, Talen Holifield, Tenley Holifield, Kipton McGee and Adeline Holifield.
