He was predeceased by: his father James "Jim" Bright; and his brother Scott Bright. He is survived by: his wife Carol Marchant Bright; his son Jared Nathanael Bright (Jenny); his grandchildren, Sophie, Gracie and Nolan Bright; his mother Betty Jane Bright; and his siblings, Brenda Wilson (Ricky), Carol Hathcock (Claude), Jimmy Bright (Cindy), Mellisa Wilson (Hank), Janet Hoyt and Betty Cheryl Wyers (Dwight). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
