She was predeceased by : her parents, Charlie Dumas and Flora Grimes Dumas; and her sisters, Gladys Dumas Carlisle, Louise Dumas Sercy and Johnnie Mae Dumas Gibson.

She is survived by : her husband Floyd Ross; and her children, Linda Dumas Tucker, Bobby Jordan (Milissa), Debbie Holifield (Roger), Barbara Lee (Warren), James "Bobo" Jordan, Charlotte Jordan and Karen Ross Wheeler. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 14th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, May 15th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lathan Funeral Home (17484 Jordan St, Chatom, AL 36518). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 15th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:45 PM at the same location.
