Vernon, Alabama, Dr. Roger Kirksey (Angela) of Mobile, Alabama and Ashley Leverett of Toxey, Alabama; his brothers, Michael Cager of Detroit, Michigan. and Anthony Leverett of Detroit, Michigan.; his grandson Jamarcus Kirksey of Chickasaw, Alabama; his great grandchild Jakobe Kirksey; his sisters, Debra Cunningham (Johnny) of Mobile, Gloria Brown of Mobile, Loletha McCants of Mobile and Carleon Williams of Detroit, Michigan; and his siblings-in-law, Lisa Kirksey of Chatom, Debra Jackson of Hattiesburg, Mississippi and Charles Napier of Hattiesburg, Mississippi. He is also survived by loving grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Viewing was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cooper Lewis Cme Church (3010 Martin Luther King Jr Ave, Chatom, AL 36518). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at the Hillcrest Memorial Cemetery (Chatom, AL 36518).
