She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Chafin and Agnes Cooper Chafin; her husband Johnny Dees; her son Wayne Dees; her siblings, Pete Chafin, Norman Chafin, Eugene Chafin, Gladys Gilley and Alene Beech; and her granddaughter Malory Dees.
She is survived by: her daughter Pam Thompson; her grandsons, John Thompson and Ransey Dees; and her daughter-in-law Michelle Dees. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and loving friends.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:20 AM at the Chatom Town Cemetery.
