Ella Lathan Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ella Lathan of Chatom, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 24, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Loper and Willie Mae Mott Loper; her husband Norman Eugene Lathan; her grandson Bailey Reese Baxter; and her brothers, Henry Loper Jr., Winfred Loper and Ben Loper.
She is survived by: her children, Darrell Lathan (Gay), Jill Baxter (Austin), Brenda Lundy (Joe) and Amanda Keller (Gene); her grandchildren, Victoria, Doug, Lexie, Devin Lundy, Aidan, Caleb and Jacob Baxter; and her siblings, Sam Loper and Shirley Loper Godwin.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Ella's memory to the Fairhope Baptist Cemetery fund (4010 Boyd-Willie Parnell Road, Tibbie, AL 36558).
