He is survived by: his fiancée Betty Akridge; his children, Joey Knapp, Kristina Shaffer (John), Sandra Mickles (Kirk), Julie Ware (Gary) and Cindy Vifquain; his brother James Bailey (Sylvia); and his aunt Marie Taylor. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
