She was predeceased by: her parents, Hattie Grace Burdette Nelson and Alvin Young Nelson; her former husband Clayton Hugo Horne; her husband JW "Jack" Evans; and her son Robert Lee Horne.
She is survived by: her children, Tracy Horne (Lora), Kathy Hutchens (Glynn), Lois Dorough (Joe), Nancy Hendrix, Dwight Evans (Ann), Sharon Ammons (Jeff) and Christine Scholz (Jack); her grandchildren, Alan Horne (Alexis), Joylynne Horne, Timothy Horne, James Hutchens (Nicole), Joshua Hutchens (Rachel), Jordan Hutchens (Natessa), Emily Hutchens, Craig Dorough (Shanette), Hunter Dorough (Patty), Bradley Dorough (Samantha), Heather Windham (David), Daniel Hendrix (Amanda), Kristin Echols (Luke), EJ Evans, Marissa Evans, Rebeckah Blankenship (Micah), Rachel Conn (Cody), Otto Scholz and Matthew Scholz; and her sister Carol Dearman. She is also survived by great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
