She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Smith and Mary Smith; and her sister Laura Smith. She is survived by: her husband James Lackey; her children, Rob (Lynn) of Chelsea, Jennifer (Matt) of Sterrett, Ryan (Chezleigh) of Chelsea and Daniel (Kaitlin) of Senoia; her grandchildren, Adi, Colin, Nolan, Evan, Logan Kate, Emmaleigh, Austin, Riley, Leighton, Beckett, Landrey, Audrey, Greyson, Colby, Patton, Landen, Rory, Millie and Natalie; and her siblings, Bruce (Mary), Frankie (Julie), Lee and Cindy.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Ridout's Southern Heritage Funeral Home and Cemetery (475 Cahaba Valley Rd, Pelham, AL 35124). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
