She was predeceased by: her parents, John G. "Gypsy" Burns and Bessie Waddle Burns; her husband James Taylor; and her siblings, John Edward Burns, Christine Burns Finch, Thomas Rice Burns and Betty Burns Adams.

She is survived by: her sons, Bobby Taylor (Juanita) of Saraland, AL and Danny Taylor (Jennifer) of Clarksville, TN; her grandchildren, Tyson, Ken Taylor, Cheryle Beth, Emma, Tad and Joey Taylor; and her great grandchild Miles. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Allsboro Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
