He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Aday and Carrie Mae Nichols Aday; his siblings, Buford, George, James, John, Howard, Orville Aday, Mary Virginia Gasque and Faye Wilkes; his grandsons, Matthew Nix and William Strickland; his great grandchild Maci Aday; his brother-in-law Leonard William Speegle; and his son-in-law Melvin Nix.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Speegle Aday; his children, Jeff Aday (Chellie), Barry Aday, Len Aday, Steven Aday (Teresa), Amy Aday, Betsy Strickland (Eddie) and Stephanie Ponder; his siblings, Russell Aday (Sharon), Ernie Aday, Bessie Speegle, Brenda Jackson and Barbara Jones; and his grandchildren, Jordan Aday, Kinsley Smith (Jake), Savanna Cole, Anthony Aday (Melody), Jamie Strickland, Tyler Strickland, Melissa Nix, Jason Aday, Cory Aday and Tiffany Wise. He is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
