It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bobby Joe Williams of Cherokee, Alabama, who passed away on March 12, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Williams and Hazel Williams of Thaxton, Mississippi; his wife Nell Cochran Williams; his brothers, Edward and Phillip Williams; his grandson David Maxwell; and his sons-in-law, Danny Mardis and Dennis Maxwell.
He is survived by: his daughters, Elizabeth Rich (Steve) and Donna Maxwell; his brother Johnny Williams; his grandchildren, Deanna Terry (Lee), Daniel Maxwell (Tosha), Paige Mardis and Patrick Mardis (Allana); his great grandchildren, Ashlynn, Sydney, Karli Jo, Evelyn and Lydia Maxwell; his great great grandchild Blake; and his sisters-in-law, Bettye Carlisle and Dot Williams.
