It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dickey Gene Lesley (Cherokee, Alabama), who passed away on May 2, 2026, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Dickey may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Dickey touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Lesley and Alma Lesley; his siblings, James Lesley, Bobby Lesley, Betty Crittenden, Gwen Curtis and Maxine Bundy; and his grandson Brandon Aycock.
He is survived by: his wife Kay Lesley of Muscle Shoals; his children, Richard Lesley (Misty) of Sheffield, Jeff Aycock (Tonya) of Muscle Shoals and Amy Keeton (Ricky) of Muscle Shoals; and his siblings, Dean Lesley (Judy) and Jenny Davis. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
