With sadness, we share the passing of Herbert Carlisle Harris III of Cherokee, Alabama. Herbert, born on March 24, 1938, passed away on August 27, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert C. Harris Jr. and Elizabeth Jacoway Harris (Betsy); and his grandmother Rose McGarry Jacoway. He is survived by: his friend Jarrett Browning. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews.
A graveside service was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Harris Chapel Baptist Church (2745 N Pike, Cherokee, AL 35616).
