With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Gipson Watson of Cherokee, Alabama, who passed away on February 15, 2023 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his former wife Linda F. Watson; his son Neal Watson; and his parents, Joe Wheeler Watson and Rosie Lee Parker. He is survived by: his wife Jeannie Cauffman Watson; and his children, Joseph N. Watson (Jenny), James A. Watson (Marianne) and Tiffany Owens Hartzog (Stalson). He is also survived by ten grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
