It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James P. Thomason of Cherokee, Alabama, who passed away on October 18, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, J. T. Thomason and Tallie Thomason; his grandson Dylan Thomason; and his sisters, Betty Ditto, Freeda Barnes, Shelia Howard and Teresa Thomason.
He is survived by: his wife Nella Thomason; his sons, James Eric Thomason and John Blake Thomason (Laura); his siblings, Jesse Kenneth Thomason, Carolyn Mayfield and Donna Kimbrough; his grandchildren, Kinzi Vanlandingham (Bryan) and Hunter Thomason; and his great grandchild Evie J. Vanlandingham. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
