It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter Ellis Taylor of Cherokee, Alabama, who passed away on September 25, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Talmadge and Carrie Lottie Taylor; and his brother Robert Taylor. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Taylor; his sons, Craig Taylor (Mary) and Brent Taylor (Amanda); his grandchildren, Caitlyn Seal (Tanner), Ben Taylor, Samantha Swafford and Collyns Stinson; and his great grandchild Owen Nash Seal. He is also survived by his family, especially his four grandchildren and his great-grandchild.

Memorials may be made to Harris Chapel Baptist Church.
