Larry Cochran Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Cochran (Childersburg, Alabama), who passed away on August 30, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Vashti Morris Cochran and James Monroe Cochran; his siblings, James Edwin Cochran, Harold Wayne Cochran, Betty Cochran Stewart and Barbara Cochran Street; and his siblings' children, David Cochran, Billy Stewart and Jamie Sue Cochran Brown.
He is survived by: his wife Cindy Veazey Cochran; his children, Jamie Cochran (Robin), Ginny Cochran Rutledge (Jon) and Lori Cochran Parris (Josh); his grandchildren, Jessica Parris, Sara Jackson Rutledge, Hannah Cochran, Reese Rutledge, Jackson Parris, Jaycee Cochran, Ava Kate Parris, Mae Rutledge and Kade Parris; his great grandchild Adalynn Grace Cochran; his sisters, Juanita Cochran White (George) and Charlotte Cochran Humphrey; and his siblings-in-law, Sue Davis Cochran, Mindy Veazey and Mike Veazey (Rhonda). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (200 8th Ave SW, Childersburg, AL 35044). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
