She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Jordan and Zelma Inez Kennedy Jordan; her husband Richard Decatur Cobb Sr.; and her siblings, Ralph Jordan and Jane Jordan Strength.
She is survived by: her family, Glennie and Ben Radcliff Contracting; her children, Yvonne Lynette Taylor (Elvie Taylor), Richard Decatur Cobb Jr. and Susan Marie Garrett (Arthur Garrett); her grandchildren, Evan Garrett, Amanda McLaughlin, Hannah Dearmon, Justin Taylor and Storm Huddleston; her great grandchild Brother Thomas Jordan; and her sister Jeanette Jordan Harris. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM and from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Valhalla Chapel (8730 Sims Rd, Eight Mile, AL 36613). A burial was held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at the Lott Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude's Hospital, Shriners, or Enhabit Hospice.
