He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Hazel Richerson Evans and T. C. Richerson; and his sister Keely Nicole Douglas. He is survived by: his daughter Aaliyah Richerson; his grandson Justin; his parents, Trisha Kiper and James Kiper; and his sister Jayme Douglas. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

The family requests that donations be made to Bethel Lighthouse of Prayer Church in Lucas' memory, 53 Powell Johnston Road, McIntosh, Alabama 36553.
