With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Catherine Weaver (Citronelle, Alabama), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 2, 2025 at the age of 67. She was predeceased by: her husband Oscar Weaver; the father of her children Jerry Weaver; her grandchildren, Raymond Weaver, Jr. and Kamden Galloway; her great grandchild Jackson Weaver; her parents, Josephine Weaver and Melton Weaver; and her siblings, Sterling Weaver, Willie Weaver, George Weaver, Rose Mary Weaver and Darrell Weaver.
She is survived by: her children, Raymond Weaver (Tiny), Kevin Weaver (Margaret), Gladys Weaver, Florence Weaver (Ray) and Mary Ann Reed; her grandchildren, Mikey, Tabitha, Heather, Kevilyn, Janice, Christopher, Donald Jr., Kevin, April, Larry, Tootie, Nick, Carson and Zack; her great grandchildren, Camden, Mikey, Natalie, Austin, Lucas, Bean, Molly, Raelynn, Harlan, Brinkley and Kyler; her siblings, Birtlee Taylor (Gene), Barbara Byrd (Spencer), Sally Smith (Walter), Fred Weaver, Florence Cambell (Clint), Chris Weaver (Lettie) and Lenore Rivers; her close friend Marsha; her children, April and Ezra; and her nieces, Chelsea Johnston and Ruddie Rivers. She is also survived by her family, particularly her children and grandchildren.
A rosary will be held on Sunday, July 6th 2025 at 5:30 PM at the Freeman Funeral Home (19180 Center St, Citronelle, AL 36522). A wake will be held on Sunday, July 6th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Saint Theresa Catholic Church (1875 Coy Smith Hwy, Mt Vernon, AL 36560). A burial will be held on Monday, July 7th 2025 at the Byrd Cemetery.
