He was predeceased by: his parents, Margery Washington and Rudolph Robinson; and his siblings, Kenny Lester Washington and Jamie Robinson (Chronda). He is survived by: his significant other Ellen Frye of Citronelle, Alabama; his children, Hope Andry of Mt. Vernon, AL, Murtis Jr., Romona Washington of Flint, MI., Rona, Tyrone and Brandy Green of Flint, MI; his siblings, Marion Peters of Fairburn, GA, Dianne Robinson, Lawrence Washington (Lyndora) of Mobile, AL, Carlus (Yukalandis), Harvard, Minnie and Linda Robinson; and his cousins, Marion and John Mumford.
A wake will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Freeman Funeral Home (19180 Center St, Citronelle, AL 36522). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at the Mount Nebo Cemetery.
