It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Robert Pitts (Citronelle, Alabama), who passed away on December 5, 2025, at the age of 51, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, James, Virginia Pitts, Opal and Stella Garrett; and his niece Lillian Pitts.
He is survived by: his wife Krista R. Pitts; his children, Julia Anne Pitts and Garrett Robert Pitts; his parents, Bobby Pitts and Carolyn Pitts; and his brother Andy Pitts (Tracey). He is also survived by uncle to his nieces and nephews and leaves behind other relatives and many friends.
A wake will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Memorial Baptist Church (19655 Mobile St N, Citronelle, AL 36522). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at the Gulfcrest Cemetery (8404 Gulfcrest Rd, Chunchula, AL 36521).
He was a proud graduate of Citronelle High School in 1992 and later the University of Mobile, Billy's contributions to his community extended beyond the classroom and field.
