She was predeceased by: her mother Luverne Easterling Cleckler; her husband Allen Smitherman; her father Johnnie W. Cleckler; her brother Jimmy Cleckler; and her sister-in-law Myra Cleckler.
She is survived by: her sons, Chris Smitherman and Brian Smitherman (Wendy); and her grandchildren, Emily Barnett (Zachary), Taylor Latham (Dustin), Sydney Smitherman and Brady Smitherman (MacKenzie). She is also survived by 3 Great Grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sunshine Assembly of God Church (2520 Co Rd 39, Clanton, AL 35046). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
