She was predeceased by: her parents, Jewell Louise Rainwater Keene and Willie Lester Keene; and her sister Nancy K. Waites. She is survived by: her children, Cathy J. Causey, Shelley A. Noel, David Wayne Gray and Johnathan E. Meadows; her grandchildren, Crystal Bell, Stephanie Brewer, Ronnie Bell, Jennifer Knight, Nakisha Morgan, Heather Morgan, Nathan Meadows and Hailey Meadows; and her siblings, Tommy L. Keene (Sheila), Gloria Ragsdale (Charlie), Justin Knight, Sue Harkins (Bruce) and Mike Keene (Carolyn). She is also survived by 14 Great Grandchildren.
