He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Giles and Gloria Wagner; and his brother Lucky Lamar Giles. He is survived by: his wife Beverly Sue Giles of Clanton; his children, Matthew Giles (Lisa) of Selma, Mark Giles (Olivia) of Owasso, OK and Lisa Helms (Jeremy) of Tuscaloosa; his grandchildren, Marissa Giles, Charles Giles, Stephanie Pincince, Megan Helms, Joshua Helms and Ashley Helms; and his great grandchildren, Emmleigh Giles, Ayva Giles, Ethan Pincince, Lily Pincince, Oliver Pincince and Colt Helms.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Ellison Memorial Funeral Home (1709 Lay Dam Rd, Clanton, AL 35045). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 at 364 Co Rd 55, Clanton, AL 35046.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Cedar Ridge Veterans Facility in Clanton, AL.
