With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles Wayne Barnette of Clanton, Alabama, who passed away on October 20, 2022 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Myrtle Blake Barnette and Lawson H. Barnette; and his siblings, Larkin Barnette, James Willie Barnette, Lillie Prather and Lois Battle.

He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Barnette; and his daughters, Sylvia Crump, Sandra Howell and Sharee Barnett. He is also survived by Eight Grandchildren; Nine Great-Grandchildren.
