He is survived by: his wife Sharon Ward; his daughter Layle Ward; his stepdaughters, Kim Baker, Shannon Lawrence (Tony) and Lacey Thornton (Shane); his grandchildren, Emily Cochran (Graham), Phillip Smith (Destiny) and Ashley Ward; his stepgranddaughters, Kaylee Farris (Megan Lirke) and Madison Thornton; and his great grandchildren, Ryleigh Underwood, Aubrie Underwood, Oliver Smith, Liam Lirkel and Gunner Farris.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Martin Funeral Home Chapel (1300 4th Ave N, Clanton, AL 35045). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
