It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Debra Lynn Mims of Clanton, Alabama, born in Jefferson, Alabama, who passed away on May 23, 2024, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her mother Wilma J. Parker Glaze; her grandsons, Blake and Ricky Allen Smith; her great grandchild River Blake Smith; her parent Jean Glaze; and her siblings, Angela Johnson and Steve Echols.
She is survived by : her husband James Mims of Clanton; her daughters, Sebrena Holcomb (Geoff) of Clanton, Teresa Smith (Ricky) of Clanton, April Walden (Sam) of Clanton and Kaitlyn Mims of Clanton; her grandchildren, Codi Burnette (Jared), Trahe Smith (Savannah), Brandon Beck (Bella), Haleigh Johnson (Brannon), Courtney Jenkins (Nathan), Aspynn Smith, Gracie Smith (Alex), Ryan Walden, David and Dylan; her great grandchild Carson Koralewski; and her brother Butch Echols of Mobile. She is also survived by 15 Great Grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 25th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Jackson Chapel Church. A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 25th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
