He is survived by: his wife Betty Helms; his son Vince; his daughter-in-law Amy Helms; his grandchildren, Jared Helms (Samantha), Josh Helms (Taylor), Thomas Gay (Jenna) and Joseph Helms (Abbi); his great grandchildren, Addy, Emmy, James, Davis, Judson and Thomas Eddie; and his sister Dorathy Helms (Jan Thompson). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
