She was predeceased by : her parents, Marvin Mims and Annie Ree Mims; her husband Raybon Rushing; and her brothers, O'Neil Mims and Gerald Mims.

She is survived by : her children, Keith Rushing (Paige) and Tammy Cleckler (Jackie); her grandsons, Kevin Cleckler (Candi), Adam Rushing (Stephanie) and Tyler Rushing (Anna); and her brothers, Gary Mims (Gail) and Steve Mims (Joellyn). She is also survived by 10 Great-Grandchildren; 1 Great Great-Grandchild.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 7th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Zion Ridge Church of God (3258 County Rd 49, Clanton, AL 35045). A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 7th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
