With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Emily Jean Keller in Clanton, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 27, 2026 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her daughter Donna Jean Keller Mefford; her nephew Terris Prince; her parents, Arnold Sethadore Prince and Lillian Gotthard Prince; her brothers, Arnold Eugene Prince, Junior Franklin Prince and Billy Ray Prince; and her friend Sarah Francis Warren.
She is survived by: her children, Frank Keller (Phylanne) of Biloxi, Bruce Keller (Marsha) of Clanton and Susan Yenney (Mark) of Gainesville. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and special nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 2nd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the New Hope Funeral Home (2500 Oak Grove Rd, New Hope, AL 35760). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 2nd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the New Hope Funeral Home Chapel (2500 Oak Grove Rd, New Hope, AL 35760). A burial was held on Saturday, May 2nd 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Walker Cemetery (32200 US-431, Grant, AL 35747).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Hebron Cemetery Fund, 215 Schnault Hollow Rd. Grant, Alabama 35747.
