He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Mims and Pharoah Powell Mims; his wife Willodean Minor Mims; and his children, Martha Ann Cleckler, Steve Mims, Larry Minor and Ricky Eugene Mims.
He is survived by: his children, Barney Mims (Cindy) of Clanton, Cynthia Connell (Shane) of Clanton and Lance Cleckler of Clanton; his daughter-in-law Cheryl Mims of Clanton; his grandchildren, Garrett Connell, Brandon Mims, Alex Minor, Heath Polk (Christin), Shane Polk (Kim) and Crystal Kirkland; and his sister Sadie Maddox of Clanton. He is also survived by 12 Great Grandchildren; 1 Great-Great Grandchild.
