She is survived by: her husband Rev. Kelvin Smitherman of Clanton; her children, Meressa Ann Smitherman of Clanton and Kerry Dale Smitherman (Kimberly) of Clanton; her grandchildren, Wesley Drew Smitherman (Linsey) of Clanton and Whitney Nicole Smitherman of Clanton; her great grandchild Melanie Dru Smitherman; and her brother Bobby Ray (Mary Sue) of Jemison.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at 16433 Co Rd 42, Jemison, AL 35085. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the New Hope Baptist Church (24348 US-31, Jemison, AL 35085). A burial will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 16433 Co Rd 42, Jemison, AL 35085.
