With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gail Stankard Sharman (Clanton, Alabama), who passed away on April 10, 2026 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Eva Bell and James Ray; her husband George (Thomas Sharman III); her children, Sam Sharman (Mary), Ginger Sharman and Marcie Dickerson (Brad); and her grandchildren, Nancy Kay, Josh, Alex, Owen and Evan.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to First Methodist Church of Clanton General Memorial or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, causes that were dear to Gail’s heart.
