He is survived by: his wife Crystal Carter Cofer of Clanton, AL; his children, Jarrod Cofer (Sam), Hailey Mims (Johnny) and Hannah Moore (Spencer); his mother Louise Cofer; his grandchildren, Brayden, Bennett, Blakelyn Cofer, Lydia, Grant, Brody, Jace, Kenzi, Kayden Mims and Madi Moore; and his siblings, Terry Cofer (Lisa), Mark Cofer (Angela) and Rita Burnette.

We knew each other from 1st working with Brice Building then MSE & then with Robins & Morton. I came out of work on disability & lost touch with Gary. Once again I am extremely sorry for your loss. He was one of the best men that I ever knew. Love you, Randy Lee”
