He was predeceased by: his parents, Clodor Doucet and Edia Doucet; his daughter Donna Sue Burnette; and his siblings, Renis Breaux and John Doucet.

He is survived by: his wife Johnnie Sue Doucet; and his children, Debra Ward (Jerry), Terry Doucet (Charla) and Jerry Allen Doucet (Janice). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
