He was predeceased by: his parents, Malcolm Stewart and Marie Minor Stewart; and his sister Penny Stewart Owens. He is survived by: his wife Jerita Stewart of Clanton; his children, Joseph M. Stewart of California, Billy Fowler of Clanton, Daniel Fowler (Libby) of Calera and Amanda Jones (Roy) of Clanton; his grandchildren, Gina Jones, Dallas Jones, Hayden Jones, Noah Fowler, Caleb Webb and Jason Fowler; and his siblings, Charles Stewart, Theresa Stewart Myrick (Billy) and Gail Stewart Minor (Larry).
