He is survived by: his daughter Teresa Varden (Keith) of Clanton; his siblings, George "Buddy" Popwell (Marie) of Jemison, Willodean Sanders of Maplesville and Johnny (Popwell); his daughter-in-law Carolyn Popwell of Thorsby; his grandchildren, Valarie Varden, Justen Popwell (Regan) and Bridget Burt (Cody); and his great grandchildren, Valyn Minor, Julien "Banks" Minor and Ryleigh Nichols. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
