Though Mary Virginia may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Mary Virginia touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Grover Bice and Marietta Bice; her husband Carl Houston McDowell, Sr.; and her son Carl Houston McDowell, Jr.. She is survived by: her nephew Michael Henry Collins (Kris); and her niece Kitty Collins Hunt.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Martin Memorial Cemetery (2300 Yellow Leaf Rd, Clanton, AL 35045).
