Though Matthew Shane may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Matthew Shane touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. He is survived by: his parents, Larry Melton and Sharon Melton (Tullis Lanier); his sister Nicki Melton; and his sibling's child Harper.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Martin Funeral Home Chapel (1300 4th Ave N, Clanton, AL 35045). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
